Epoch 1: Age of Heroes

Heroes, here are the changes that went into the latest LHU update.

Feature Overview

In Legendary Heroes Unchained Epoch 1, players embark on a thrilling journey, honing their skills in dungeon exploration, interdimensional battles, and strategic Guild-building.

Marketplace

The marketplace is now open! List your heroes for sale. By the perfect hero to complete your team. Hero NFTs can also be bought and sold on OpenSea.

Gold Founders Packs

Gold founders packs can be purchased for the first time! Gold packs give you a chance to get the highest rarity and most powerful heroes in the game.

Guild System

Form or join competitive groups where you can work alongside your guildmates to progress through our enhanced guild progression system. Climb the ranks as a team and prove your strength! Level up a hero to LVL7 to unlock this feature.

Guild Currencies:As members, you’ll collect three distinct types of guild currencies. These currencies can be donated to level up your guild’s rank and tier.

Loyalty XP:Your contributions will not go unnoticed. Earn Loyalty XP for your donations.
Guild Roles:We’re introducing roles to foster leadership and organization within guilds, including Leader, Captain, Member, and Recruit. Each role comes with its own responsibilities and privileges.
Guild Sigil Maker:Stand out on the battlefield! Customize your guild’s identity with unique sigils that represent your collective might.

Guild Progression Rewards:The more your guild participates in events the faster you’ll level up. Increased participation unlocks powerful rewards that make your guild stronger and more competitive.

Bonus Event Points: Keep an eye out for which heroes and which affinites offer bonus points in battle.

Using certain heroes in teams will score bonus event points. By paying attention to what heroes get these bonuses players can compete more efficiently on the leaderboards. This info is shown on the main page and on heores in player’s collection and team select views.

*Note: On legacy accounts, you may need to level an additional hero up

Artifact System 2.0: Power Beyond Limits

Artifacts have always played a key role in LHU, but in v3.0.1, they’re getting a serious upgrade.

Key Changes: The updated Artifact system is designed to make these powerful items more persistent, impactful, and engaging as you progress through your journey.
Portal-Specific Artifacts: These special artifacts are designed to enhance your performance in Portal battles, rewarding streaks, and strategic play.
Example: Healing items are 50% more effective in Portal battles — Keep your heroes in the fight longer with enhanced healing boosts.
Cursed Artifacts: Beware of powerful artifacts that come with a cost! These cursed items offer significant boosts but carry negative effects that you’ll need to navigate around or remove.
Artifact Cap: With great power comes great responsibility. Players can now carry a maximum of 8 artifacts, so choose wisely!

The changes to artifacts will make every decision more meaningful, whether you’re chasing after powerful boosts or managing the risks of cursed items.

Shrine encounters have been updated to give players a choice of a range of artifacts, a random artifact, or to destroy one of the artifacts they have. This can help get rid of those pesky cursed artifacts!

New Biomes: Ice and Fire Awaits

Prepare to venture into two stunning new biomes that complete our affinity-themed worlds. These biomes are designed to challenge your strategy and test your heroes’ limits as you explore their unique environments.

The Underworld: A hellish landscape dominated by flames, where the fiercest battles take place amidst rivers of lava and molten rock.
The Tundra: A frozen wasteland where the biting cold is as dangerous as the enemies you face.

With these new biomes, we’re bringing even more variety and depth to your dungeon-crawling adventures.

Chance Encounters

Chance encounters have been updated to make it clear what rewards each choice gives and the chance of getting that reward if the choice is taken.

Champion Series Heroes: Prove Your Might

Our Champions series heroes are now available to win!

Compete on the Dungeon and Portal leaderboards to reach the top spot to obtain these heroes. Each week the heroes that can be won will rotate to keep an eye out for daily changes.

Compete daily to collect them all. Stay sharp and prepare for battle. The Champions await the bravest of you?

Hero Rebalancing

There has been a large series of changes to heroes skills and stats based on play testing and feedback from the earlier versions of the game. This makes their skills more useful and heroes fun and compelling to play with across the board!
